POWERBOMB COMEDY FESTIVAL: Week 3

Powerbomb Comedy Festival has you sorted in terms of things to do in Sydney this October, and we’ve got a killer lineup planned for week three of the festival.

Some of Australia’s funniest stand-up comedians are set to hit the stage at Glebe’s famous Staves Brewery, as part of Sydney’s biggest independent comedy festival.

We’ve got four big shows scheduled for week three of the festival, with a range of comedians that everybody will enjoy.

Worst First Dates with Brett Blake and Kelly Fastuca – 5.45pm

Worst First Dates has been a runaway hit over the last 12 months. Hosts Brett Blake and Kelly Fastuca are hilarious revealing their worst dates/relationships/break ups. Check out this special live recording and see why Worst First Dates was voted one of the best comedy podcasts by Junkee.

Phone Hacks Live with Michael Goldstein and Nick Capper – 7pm

Comedians Mike Goldstein and Nick Capper swap phones and rummage though the dark corners of each other’s private lives in Phone Hacks, the podcast that has guests and audience members turning their phones over live. Come join in on the shenanigans!

The Sydney Project – Eric Patrick – 8.15pm

American Eric Patrick hasn’t been on the Sydney scene too long, but he’s already become one of the city’s favourite headliners. Come see Eric mix improvised music and stand-up comedy in the latest version of his hour show that is sure to bring the laughs.

Heartbreaker – Lauren Bonner – 9.30pm

After a sold out run at the Sydney Comedy Festival, Lauren Bonner returns for an encore performance of Heartbreaker. You might have caught Lauren on Triple J, the ABC or SBS. She’s been killing it on the local scene and this is sure to be a hilarious hour of comedy.
